Columbus Legacy was established on the principle of creating a competitive learning environment that will provide elite skill training and personal development for artistic swimmers. While challenging each member to improve their skill in the sport, at Columbus Legacy, athletes will also learn lessons in leadership and teamwork while developing their ability to be leaders in the community.
As former artistic swimmers and a members of this community for over twenty years, we have experienced this sport from grassroots to national and Olympic teams. We have dedicated our lives to competing for our countries and at Ohio State and now have transitioned into coaching and helping develop our youth and elite pipelines within USA Artistic Swimming. We have noticed where our country can build upon in training our youth athletes and are committed to providing a healthy, well-rounded training approach for athletes to excel in this sport.

- Our team is brand new, with inaugural season registration currently at 19 families with athlete ages ranging from age 7-16.
- Current Head coach and team board President is assistant artistic swimming coach at The Ohio State University.
- Team Local North Zone competitive meets draw approximately 200-300 audience members from 3 states. We will compete in at least 4 this upcoming Spring.
- Regional competition will draw approximately 1000 viewers, our team will compete to qualify for nationals. Despite being a new team, several of our teenage swimmers have been a part of the sport for many years and have qualified and competed at the regional, national, and even international level on behalf of USA.
- Our team will compete in both USA artistic swimming national competition and USA artistic swimming junior Olympics. Both of those events contain swim clubs from all over the country and draw an average of 500-1000 competitive athletes.
- with several coaches that compete at the collegiate level and National team as OSU alumni, there will be additional audience members for our specific team given their involvement.
