Italian National Team Outrigger - Va'a

Outrigger boats were originally developed by the peoples of the islands of Polinesia for sea travel. It is believed that the use of outriggers may have been initially caused by the need for stability on small watercraft around 1500 BCE.

The history and the sport go along together.  This sport had never had doping cases and the Italian National Team has athlete that come from all italy cities.

The World Sprint is a world event and it is very important for the inclusion both for disable and age. It is the only sport that have a category at the world championship over 70years old and start from 11 years old and disable are paddlin on the same canoe.
