At The Regional Talent Centre we develop players and give them the strength, belief and opportunities to test and push themselves towards achieving their footballing potential.

We take players that haven’t made the step up to a professional club and we provide the safe, controlled environment where learning and development is primary goal, whilst maintaining that all important link with local football teams.
Our teams play fixtures against Academies, as well as other Regional Development teams/County set ups, this offers them the space and opportunity to develop and showcase their talent. We currently have 10 competitive squads across the age groups, 5 of which compete in the prestigious Junior Premier League. However, we also cater outside of this, for over 200 children within the local community at our progression sessions, all with FA qualified coaches. This means currently we work with over 350 players from Under 7’s upwards as it’s vital to work at this younger age to maximise their development. We take them through to Under 16’s level and give them all the help and guidance they need to take their next steps on the footballing ladder. Our tailor-made coaching syllabus is created by our UEFA qualified team of coaches. It draws on their many years of accumulated experience working in Centre of Excellences, Academies and County representative sides. The programme includes ball skills, small sided games and futsal to enable better decision making and improved technical ability. It also includes development topics and tactical insight to give Exeter Regional Talent Centre players a better knowledge and understanding of the game which can only improve their physical performance.
We work with players from Under 7’s upwards as it’s vital to work at this younger age to maximise their development. We take them through to Under 16’s level and give them all the help and guidance they need to take their next steps on the footballing ladder.
By partnering with us you will help us fund kit, equipment and activities to further allow us to develop these aspiring children.
We have had an incredible first year as a Talent Centre, leading us to now be working with Exeter City FC, where we look to push our recruitment and training of players into their academy.

Established two years ago, we now have 20 dedicated coaches' and already have seen a growth of over 100% playing and training opportunities at the centres.
During the 23/24 season we opened a second Progression Centre in Tiverton, expanding our offering to the community.
We have X, Facebook, and Tik Tok platforms, with a newly appointed Media team, where we post a multitude of information including match results, goal of the week and team of the week, highlighting success. With some of of content reaching 30,000 views.
We work in conjunction with Exeter City FC Academy, providing a pathway into the professional game. With multiple players already successfully making that step up already through our centres.
This season we are committed to providing a network within the grassroots game, By offering our services to local teams to help develop coaches and players within the game. We commit to offer every player within our Match days squads the opportunity to attend an end of season tour, enhancing their life experience and developing key skills outside of football too. We commit to offering a fun, safe, inclusive environment to all those who attend the Regional Talent Centre, maintaining a positive ethos across all coaches, with development as our main driver.
