Infront Sports & Media is a sports rights marketer based in Zug (Switzerland). Infront was founded in 2002 by Günter Netzer and former Adidas CEO Robert Louis-Dreyfus. Since 2002 Infront markets, among other things, the FIFA World Cup for FIFA. Managing Director of Infront is Philippe Blatter, the nephew of former FIFA President Sepp Blatter. Infront also markets several Bundesliga clubs in Germany, including 1. FC Köln and FSV Mainz 05.
Infront in 2011 was bought by the private equity firm Bridgepoint, which Infront sold in February 2015 for more than one billion euros to the Chinese group Dalian Wanda.
